Consultation update

Thank you for the 427 comments so far on the draft Neighbourhood Plan. Many interesting points have been made which we are reviewing as we start to create the next version of the Plan

Please keep the comments coming - either take part yourself or encourage your family and friends to make their voices heard! The more we get the more weight they will carry through the assessment process by North Somerset Council and the Planning Inspector.

Update from the Portishead Neighbourhood Plan

Hello

Thank you for your response to the Portishead Neighbourhood Plan consultation during the summer. Our surveys are now closed for the moment. We had over 900 responses across a range of topics - from protecting green spaces, supporting independent shops and businesses, through to the importance of our coastline and information on local housing need.

Your responses are now being analysed and will inform the Neighbourhood Plan evidence base and planning policies which are currently being drafted.

We aim to share the emerging Vision and Objectives and evidence base material with you in the next few months, in order to check draft material back with you and ensure that it captures your priorities. Watch this space!
